Property Development & Investment

The Group's foray into the property industry since 1996, started with the investment in Labur Bina Sdn. Bhd. Despite its maiden launch during the financial crisis in 1997.

Township Planning & Development

its flagship township, Bandar Bukit Tinggi (BBT), has strived and emerged as one of the highly demanded integrated townships in Southern Klang with total Gross Development Value of more than RM3.4 billion. Today, Bandar Bukit Tinggi and Bandar Bukit Tinggi 2, not only home to a population of more than 40,000 households but also attracts reputable hypermarkets such as Giant and Tesco as well as retailer AEON Jusco to operate in the township. In 2005, the Group launched its 3rd intergrated township development, Bandar Parklands, with GDV of approximately RM1.1 billion.

Luxury Homes

WCT's maiden high-end residential development project is located in the beautiful city of Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, named d'Banyan Residency. Surrounded with a 27-hole golf course and bedding the marina that oversees South China Sea, the project has a GDV of RM260 million.

Commercial

In commercial development, the Paradigm Shoppingl Mall and Grade-A offices in Kelana Jaya, Malaysia with GDV of RM1.4 billion. A Luxurious convergence of business, retail, dining / entertainment, The Paradigm is an architectural marvel with a unique fluid design. It comprises of 3 blocks of office towers and a retail mall with combined floor space of 2.1 million sq. ft.

The Platinum Plaza in Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam, is one of the finest development to be developed by WCT. When completed, it will be the largest shopping centre in Vietnam. Apart from retail, it also houses 2 office towers, service apartments and a hotel. WCT is honoured to have the trust and confidence of the Government of Vietnam to develop this prestigious iconic project.

Property Investment & Management

In June 2006, the Group branched into Property Investment with the inking of Agreement to Lease between WCT Land Berhad and AEON Co. Malaysia Berhad to lease a shopping mall in Bandar Bukit Tinggi 2.

WCT develop and own the 2.1 million sq. ft (NFA 1.1 million sq ft) shopping mall building as well as managing the 5,000 car parks whilst AEON (Jusco) shall lease and manage the said building for a period up to 25 years. The shopping mall has started to operate since December 2007.

In mid-2011, WCT is opening another 700,000 sq ft NFA shopping mall in Petaling Jaya to add to the existing retail flagship of the Group. The shopping mall is part of the Paradigm PJ mix-commercial development.

The Platinum Mall in Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam with the size of 1.2 million sq ft NFA is slated to the Group's third shopping for investment purpose. The shoppong mall which is expected to open to patrons in 2013 will be the largest shopping mall in Vietnam.

WCT intend to build on recurring income assets in the coming years to provide steady flow of income to the Group's financials. Other type of property assets include hotels, service apartments and premium offices.
