WCT, over the years, has built up an impressive list of completed mandates locally that clearly delineates the Groups' ability and capacity to take on all types of project on fast track basis.

Amongst the notable local projects that WCT won include being appointed as the main earthworks sub-contractor for the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) project in which about 50 million cu m of earth was excavated. This project was completed in a short space of time job due to since its formative years, WCT is widely known as an civil and earthwork specialist in the construction industry.

In highway construction, WCT has completed project such as the Package 4 of the Middle Ring Road, the Kuala Lumpur-Karak Highway and the Package 3 of the Second Malaysia-Singapore Link. Thereafter, WCT graduated to its first design and build highway project the Guthrie Corridor Expressway, which WCT was conferred the Road Engineering Excellence Award by the Road Engineering Association of Malaysia.

WCT's ability to learn and to add on capacities saw it constructing the Kelalong Dam, located in Bintulu, Sarawak. The Group was the main civil works contractor for Package 1A and 1B of the Bakun Hydroelectric Dam project in Sarawak, of which WCT is also a consortium member of the overall project with 7.7% stake. In early 2005, WCT further enahnced its presence in dam construction and water projects by securing the Kudat Water Supply Project under the Long Term Scheme of Milau Dam in Sabah.

In building construction, the Group won the mandate to build four government office and commercial buildings in Putrajaya, i.e. Putrajaya Lot 2G3, 2G4, 3C4, 4G8 and 4G9. Thus far, Putrajaya 2G3, 2G4 and 3C4 have been completed whilst works on 4G8 as well as 4G9 are progressing. In March 2005, WCT handed over another significant project - The Curve, a new retail and commercial centre located in Mutiara Damansara, Selangor. In November 2007, WCT delivered one of its largest shopping mall project in Malaysia (2.35 million sq. ft.) located in Bandar Bukit Tinggi township with record time of 14 months, which was leased to Aeon Co. Malaysia. Subsequently, we have also delivered the Aeon shopping malls in Bukit Indah Johor and Melaka.  

The group is also the main contractor for the construction of the Sepang F1 Circuit, the first modern F1 racing circuit in the world. This is also one of the more technically demanding local project that WCT has undertaken given the fast track 14 months construction period coupled with its stringent specifications and requirements.The achievement in building the Sepang F1 Circuits in the record time also enabled WCT to land 2 other F1 Circuit projects in Bahrain and Abu Dhabi, UAE, both successfully handed over to the clients in 2004 and 2009 respectively. 

In April 2006, WCT strengthened its airport construction profile in Malaysia when it secured the Kota Kinabalu International Aiport Upgrading - Package 1 - Terminal, Building and Landside Infrastructure Facilities, where the new international airport building was officially opened to passagers in 2009. Previous experience include the earthwork contracts in Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) and in 2010, we undertake another earthwork package being part of the new RM2.0 billion Low Cost Carrier Terminal in KLIA.
