Details of Contract

The scope of works under the Contracts comprises Earthwork, Drainage, Roads and Pavement, Water Reticulation, Sewerage Works, Soil Investigation, M&E Infrastructure Works, Sewerage Pumping Station, Electricity Sub-stations and 33KV Main Distribution Sub-stations (collectively referred to as “the Works”).

The total value of the Contracts is a fixed lump sum of RM766,482,148.79 (Ringgit Seven Hundred and Sixty Six Million Four Hundred and Eighty Two Thousand One Hundred and Forty Eight and Sen Seventy Nine Only).

The Works are expected to be completed by July 2011.


Information of the Employer/ Client

The Employer is a subsidiary of Iskandar Investment Berhad (“IIB”), the strategic developer for Iskandar Malaysia in the State of Johor, Malaysia. IIB is in turn a subsidiary of Khazanah Malaysia Berhad, an investment holding arm of the Government of Malaysia.

The Employer is the infrastructure provider of Medini, Iskandar Malaysia (“Medini”), the single largest urban development to date in Malaysia. Medini is located within the Nusajaya Development Zone, one of the five (5) Flagship Zones of Iskandar Malaysia.
