The State Government of Sarawak granted the contract to construct a dam in Bintulu, Sarawak to WCT Construction Sdn Bhd in 2002. Among the scope of works are site clearing, excavation of earth and rock filling for the dam foundation, diversion culvert, spillway, silt sediment pond and embarkment.
