On 23 April 2025, WCT Bahrain WLL signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Bahrain’s Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning during the Innovation Summit 2025 to collaborate on the development and construction of 3,000 social housing villas on government-owned lands at Madinat Khalifa. The initiative supports Bahrain’s national housing strategy to provide affordable and sustainable housing, building on WCT’s successful track record in the Kingdom and property development expertise.
Paradigm Real Estate Investment Trust (“Paradigm REIT”) has reached another significant milestone with the successful signing of its underwriting agreement with Maybank Investment Bank, the Principal Adviser, Lead Bookrunner, Sole Managing Underwriter, alongside CGS International Securities Malaysia and AmInvestment Bank as Joint Bookrunner and Joint Underwriters.
WCT shareholders approved the listing of Paradigm Real Estate Investment Trust (Paradigm REIT) on the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad at the Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) held on 9 April 2025. The proposed listing enables the Group to unlock the value of its retail assets while optimising its capital structure.
