The Group recorded profit attributable to equity holders of RM15.3 million in Q2FY25, as compared to RM31.3 million in Q2FY24.

Cumulatively, the Group recorded higher revenue of RM1.02 billion for the six months ended 30 June 2025 (“1HFY25”), representing an increase of 21% from RM843.7 million in the corresponding period ended 30 June 2024 (“1HFY24”). The decline in operating profit was primarily due to lower margins recognised as several higher-margin projects approached completion.

While earnings moderated during the quarter, the Division strengthened its order book with a new RM365.22 million contract from Projek Lebuhraya Usahasama Berhad (PLUS) for the expansion of the North-South Expressway from Yong Peng (North) to Senai (North), Phase 2: Sedenak to Simpang Renggam.

The increased in both the revenue and operating profit were attributed to higher sales and billing as well as land sales. To date, the Group’s unbilled sales stood at RM1.04 billion.

Dato’ Lee Tuck Fook, Group Managing Director, WCT Holdings Berhad said, “We are encouraged by the steady sales and progressive billings from our ongoing developments such as The Maple Residences at WCity OUG, Pavilion Mon’t Kiara, and Adison Serviced Apartments, which continue to underpin the division’s growth and reflect buyer’s confidence in our developments.

“Building on this momentum, we recently introduced Aras Residences at WCity OUG, a freehold serviced residence that has received the Provisional GreenRE Silver certification, underscoring our commitment to sustainable urban development and eco-friendly living, added Dato’ Lee.

The Property Investment and Management Division registered higher revenue of RM135.6 million and an operating profit of RM57.4 million (1HFY24: RM126.1 million and RM64.2 million). The increase in revenue were attributed to higher contribution from hotels and aviation division.
