PETALING JAYA, 1 January 2023 – WCT Malls Management Sdn Bhd, the property investment and management business under WCT Holdings Berhad (“WCT Group”) unveiled its Do It 过好年 festive celebration theme in collaboration with 988 Chinese Radio Station to welcome the Lunar New Year 2023 at Paradigm Mall Petaling Jaya, Paradigm Mall Johor Bahru, gateway@klia2 and SkyPark Terminal.
The Do It 过好年 Chinese New Year campaign that is slated for 30 December 2022 to 5 February 2023 will feature Q-Zai, the rabbit mascot from 988, Meet and greet with 988 DJs, oriental performances, acrobatic lion dance, Chinese New Year festive booths & bazaar, limited-edition red packet giveaway, as well as premiums redemption and Purchase with Purchase (PWP) abalone deals.
The festive decorations will be unique for each WCT Malls, with Paradigm Mall PJ transforming into a village setting with riverside, adorned with peony flowers and a round dining table that is the highlight of the décor – all to exude a ‘Reunion’ atmosphere. Meanwhile at Paradigm Mall JB, visitors to the mall will be greeted with great ‘Wishing’ atmosphere where a huge 20ft height wishing tree will be the center masterpiece for the public to make wishes, and write them down before hanging their wishes on the tree as part of the Chinese New Year tradition. On the other hand, Skypark Terminal and gateway@klia2, being a transportation hub respectively will welcome visitors with a ‘homecoming ambience where the festive decors will feature traditional Chinese village that creates a nostalgic Lunar New Year moment.
