Students to Enjoy Discounts and Vouchers Amid Travelling

SEPANG, 12 January 2023 – WCT Malls Management Sdn Bhd, the property investment and management business under WCT Holdings Berhad (“WCT Group”) today announced the launch of Student Travel Rewards, a new program at gateway@klia2 that focuses on assisting students to minimise travel costs while allowing them to enjoy travelling to and from their homes during the festive season. The Student Travel Rewards program, which will run starting today until 30th April 2023, will provide students with a variety of discounts and vouchers while on transit at gateway@klia2. These offers range from discounts on food and beverages at selected restaurants and cafes at the mall, to discounts on airport transfers. With the launch of the program, students who are traveling via KLIA2 can redeem RM20 e-cash and cash vouchers on the mall’s loyalty app WCT Buddy to be utilized for meals and necessities within the mall. Through a collaboration with airasia ride & KLIA Ekspres students can also redeem RM5 off their airasia ride, 30% discount on KLIA Transit fares and on top of that, students can also receive an additional one-time RM5 value in EkspreSmiles Points for their next purchase of tickets online.

With that in mind, we at gateway@klia2 is launching a Student Travel Rewards program from today till the 30th April 2023 as a community service project to help students in their travels.” The launch of the community service project at gateway@klia2 during the media appreciation lunch today was officiated by YB Tuan Anthony Loke, Minister of Transport Malaysia. In addition, I would also like to call upon all parties and relevant stakeholders to show their solidarity, togetherness, and support for the government in order overcome current economic challenges affecting our beloved country.’ The luncheon event saw many attendees including those from media publications and business partners who came together to usher in the year of rabbit with a communal Lou Hei session. Lou Hei which means “tossing up” in English, refers to the communal tossing of Yee Sang, a dish made up of fish slices, vegetables, spices, and condiments.
