11 August 2025
KUALA LUMPUR, 11 AUGUST 2025 - WCT Land Sdn Bhd, the property development and property investment and management division of WCT Holdings Bhd, has partnered with Malayan Banking Bhd to extend the bank’s MyDeco Financing and Maybank Green Home Financing to its homebuyers in particular schemes, it announced on Monday at the WCity OUG sales gallery here.
Under this initiative, eligible buyers of the aforementioned projects can enjoy up to 95% financing, with an additional 5% margin to cover related costs such as legal fees and stamp duties under the Maybank Green Home Financing scheme. On top of that, Maybank’s MyDeco Financing scheme also offers up to 30% in additional financing (capped at RM250,000) for home enhancements, including interior design and furnishings.
The financing scheme is applicable to homebuyers of Aras Residences and The Maple Residences located within the 63-acre WCity OUG mixed-use development here as well as Adison Serviced Apartments at the 68-acre WCity Larkington mixed-use development in Johor Bahru.
WCT Holdings Bhd chief operating officer of property development Chong Wah Hing said at a press conference, “Our intention [of this initiative] is to bring up sustainability [efforts in our development] knowing that the government is coming up with new requirements. Other than compliance, we also want to give something back to the community and the homebuyers. From that, we explored what we can give to the homeowners. That’s where we explore with Maybank and come up with new packages to offer to the buyers to lighten their burden as living costs are getting higher.”
In addition, the developer gave updates on three of its ongoing projects.
In WCity OUG, there is the RM1.03 billion Aras Residences, which comprises two blocks with the first block achieving a take-up of about 30% to 40% while the second block is yet to be unveiled.
Also in WCity OUG, The Maple Residences at RM870 million was completed this year.
For W City Larkington in Johor Bahru, WCT Land unveiled its first project last year with the first tower of Adison Serviced Apartments. Worth RM1.15 billion, the development comprises four towers (Towers A, B, C and D) with the first and second towers unveiled last year and this year, with take-up rates of about 96% and 63% respectively.
