Board and Senior Management Diversity Policy

The Board and Senior Management Diversity Policy set out the concept of diversity from a number of aspects, including but not limited to skills, knowledge, professional/industry experiences, gender, age, cultural and educational background, ethnicity and length of service (“Diversity Perspectives”).

The selection of candidates will be based on a range of Diversity Perspectives as described above without discrimination on gender, age, religion and ethnic group. The ultimate decision will be based on merit and potential contribution that the selected candidate will bring to the Board and the Group to achieve its corporate and commercial goals and to maintain sustainable growth through a healthy, harmonious and professional workplace.

In recognition of the importance to promote gender diversity on the Board, the Board supports the Government’s aspiration to achieve at least 30% women directors on the Board of public listed companies. New appointments to the Board or on replacement of a Director on the Board, priority will be given to suitable women candidates to achieve at least 30% women directors on the Board.
